With a metal rotary control dial that delivers controlled power when you need it most and a plastic splashguard with a hinged lid over a wide pouring spout prevents against spillages. The GHI award is gained through a series of consumer quality assessment tests devised by the institute, and provides a rigorous benchmark for consumers across a diverse range of household products. Kenwood trade marketing manager Penny Jones said: "We're really excited that it has passed the Good Housekeeping Institute's expert researchers' test, with a fantastic grade of 91 out of 100." The kMix blender has a retro design, with 1.6l glass goblet, metal body and easy-clean design. It also features a dial for selecting function rather than speed. The blender is one of four products in the kMix range. The others are stand mixer - which has also received GHI accreditation, hand mixer and hand blender.
