How often do you regularly use all 4 cooking zones on your hob? Wouldn’t you rather have one less zone, but with the remaining zones better suited to the size of your cookware? Miele’s KM6113 is a standard 60cm wide ceramic hob, but features 3 cooking zones instead of the usual 4 found on this size of model. One of the 3 cooking areas is exceptionally large, perfect for that big sauté pan that never seemed to fit on your old hob! This sleek ceramic glass hob unit with flat stainless steel rim also boasts easy-to-use front mounted touch controls. Ultra-efficient induction works by creating a magnetic field between the hob and steel or iron pan. The heat is instant; it is easily controlled and energy efficient. Due to the flat ceramic surface they are very easy to clean. All 3 cooking zones are also equipped with an automatic warm-up function. This sets the cooking zone to the highest setting for a certain period of time and then automatically switches back to the cooking setting that was originally set. So you could bring a pan of water to the boil before reducing the heat to a simmer without even having to be in the kitchen. There’s an LED display for each cooking zone with up to 9 power levels, and a 3-stage residual heat indicator. With child safety lock and safety cut-out protection for extra peace of mind. Note: Only use pans suitable for induction hobs. These include: enamelled steel, iron, stainless steel (depending on the alloy) and some aluminium pans with a ferromagnetic base. Glass and copper bases are unsuitable
