Designed for Alessi by Elena Manferdini&pipe; Blossom is a very carefully designed openwork fruit basket. A protege of Greg Lynn in California&pipe; Bologna-born Elena's are worthy of their position in Alessi's refined Officina collection. In fact&pipe; the Blossom basket is so complex in design terms that&pipe; like many Alessi baskets&pipe; it spent several years in prototype before an effective production method was found.
